Dr. Abu Ammar Syed Zawar Hussain Shah is the founder and principal of Ma’rifat-ul-Quran Institute, located in the heart of Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. He is a distinguished Islamic scholar, a certified Mufti, a Hafiz-e-Qur’an, and a world-class Qari, known for his eloquent Tajweed and spiritual charisma.

Dr. Shah holds double Master’s degrees in Islamic Studies and Arabic, along with a prestigious PhD in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh). His scholarly pursuits span decades of rigorous study and teaching, combining deep traditional knowledge with a contemporary understanding of global Islamic needs.

Under his visionary leadership, Ma’rifat-ul-Quran has become a center of excellence for Islamic education — producing hundreds of scholars, imams, teachers, and da’wah workers across Pakistan and the globe.
